I want to thank so many people for the warm birthday greetings from around the world. I appreciate each of you for your thoughtfulness.

Today I want to encourage you in your awareness of your ability. Scripture reveals that we are known and called from the foundations of time. We are not an accident and our uniqueness should always be considered a gift. Each of us is having a special role that has nothing to do with the role of others. God alone gave us life and calling so He alone is equipping us.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4)

I want you to know that the Lord has always had His hand on you to help you in your calling. We live in a new era where each of us is a priest. The priesthood of believers. We who call on Jesus’ name are equally welcome into the throne room of our father.

Galatians 1:15
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.

Our calling is to reveal the life giver. Jesus did for us what no man could do. He became the source of all things for this life and the next and the world is waiting to hear it and see truth demonstrated.
When the ship was going down and all hope was lost an angel appeared to Paul and said to be of good cheer, he must appear before Caesar.

We all have a Caesar to appear before. We all stand in place of Jesus on this earth to speak of the unseen God to a searching world. You are called to your Caesars. Go to them.

Friends, I missed sharing nuggets with you as I was on the road last week. We had a wonderful time of ministry and fellowship.

In this walk of faith that we are on there is always a moment when that faith is put to the test. In all our lives there are things that arise which we cannot control. What we do in that moment is critical to the outcome.

When a religious ruler came to Jesus with a plea for the life of his daughter he received a bad report that the daughter just died. Jesus heard that report and responded to the leader “Only Believe”.
Faith is a force that reaches into impossible situations and makes them possible. Jesus spoke a word of life when the facts were words of death.

Truth goes beyond facts.

It’s never too late for you. Whatever dream, desire, or situation looks dead look beyond it. There is always a resurrection.

Luke 8:49
While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.”
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”

There is always something to be thankful for. If you see nothing on your horizon, then climb a little higher and see your eternity. The great apostle Paul suffered at the hands of his oppressors so often that you would think he would consider his life abandoned and defeated. But He considers all the beatings, drowning, stoning, jail time, shortage, and accusations just a light affliction compared to the whole plan of life for him.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We have entered into a victory that cannot be taken from us.
We have been given victory over the world, the devil, and the flesh.
We have overcome by the blood.
We have overcome by our testimony.
We have overcome through the name that is above every other name.
We have a word that defeated all enemies, even death itself.
Remember that it is not your education, good looks, money, family, or approval of men that makes you a winner.
It is your persistence to stand in a victory won for you before you ever entered a battle or fired a shot.
Do not hesitate to keep moving.
Mountains will move.
Devils will flee.
The unseen will be seen.
And Jesus will give you a crown of the overcomer through your persistence.
Keep moving.

Week after week you read these small nuggets. Every once in a while a phrase or a word really penetrates deep, and an idea, insight or picture comes to your mind that lifts your eyes or your heart to a new possibility. The whole world is run on faith and fear. Perspective of how markets will respond is not based on actual value of companies and product but on how people perceive their value. If we agree on that then every classroom should be teaching how faith works.

Understanding faith should be a foundation for a person’s success. Jesus recognized and esteemed faith in other people. When the Roman Soldier told Jesus that He could heal his servant with just His word Jesus said; As you believe it is done to you (Matt 8:13)

When the woman with a blood disease for 12 years touched the hem of his garment and was healed He said: “Your faith has made you whole”.

Faith is the creative energy given by God to you to move mountains in your life. This creative energy or force must flow from somewhere. Could it be that it flows from the fabric of our words, thoughts and strong feelings? When you ground this force in the solid bedrock of God’s Word then you are not shaken by markets, governments, or the daily news.
Know your faith and you know your future!

If all natural pillars on which you create your life and your supply were removed could you still stand?

Has God given us a power with application for this life as well as the life to come?

I believe He has but that power that we call faith does not operate apart from the motivation it was tied to. Faith works by Love (Gal 5:6). Understand Love and you develop the confidence to do anything. My definition of Love is unselfishness. Love does not think of itself. How is that possible? Everybody has a long history of thinking only about themselves.

The only way that is possible is to see yourself already taken care of by your Lord. If you really believe you are totally provided for then you can switch your thoughts to others. Think about it.

As I conclude my new book I want to give a thought from the back.
We have this great interior force in us called faith. We have to call it Faith in God or it just becomes a mental gimmick. According to Bible principles, the operation of this faith can move mountains, see the future, receive desires and speak the unseen into existence. What unlocks this gift of God in your life? LOVE.

For in Christ, neither our most conscientious religion nor disregard of religion amounts to anything. What matters is something far more interior: faith expressed in love. Galatians 5:6

Love is like the starter on your car. It does not matter if it is a Mercedes or a Lada. Without the spark that the starter creates it will not move. Keep the spark of love in your life as you go into your new year.

Sorry for not being daily lately. The Holiday season with all its closeouts can be busier than other seasons.

I have been writing the last chapter on the new book and would like to include a short except today on an aspect of the power of a seed. A seed has 3 parts: the outer hull, inner meat and the third part of the seed, the germ that has the life force that is the creative power making it all happen. In science we would call this a dynamo or self starting and self sustaining energy. In the spiritual realm, this is the same life that resurrected Jesus in the tomb. It is the new source of life not limited to the earthly realm. It has a catalyst when we say yes to God’s plan that sets in motion all the unmerited, undeserved favor of the Creator for His creation. Our positive expectation mixes with truth creating the desired result.

You may be without resource right now but you are never without seed if Jesus is your Lord.

My Friends,

Discovering what you really value is a real freedom that is worth the quest. Often people are moved more by the opinion of others than by what their core value says is true. Can we discover how to love and respect people without always bowing to their values in fear of not being accepted? Jesus loved Peter but said to him: “get thee behind me Satan” when Peter said Jesus should not die on a cross. Jesus addressed Peter’s wrong value of self preservation but still loved Peter. Even though Peter was considered one of the top leaders of the church Paul had to stand up to him to his face when Peter did not eat with the gentiles for fear of what the religious people might think. Paul loved and respected Peter as one of the key people but would not tolerate breaking the core message of the Gospel freedom and equality.

Understanding your core values gives you freedom to love and respect people in their differences despite not agreeing with them.

Gal. 2:11-13 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all.

HEALTH TIP: Studies show that people who are sleep deprived produce an excess of certain hormones such as cortisol, grehlin and neuropeptide Y that can stimulate hunger and lead to overeating.
